NEK Grains was established in 2020 by Shawn & Sara Gingue.
We could see the demand for local grains but there was a lot of missing in the way of getting the grains from field to table. It is our goal to make it easier for our customers to have fresh, local grains and flour readily available.
Our wheat is grown at Gingue Family Farm in Waterford, VT and milled on a granite stone mill. We mill this way to capture the full flavor and maintain the nutritional integrity of the entire wheat berry as it gets transformed into flour. Warthog Wheat is known for its excellent flavor and versatility in the baking world. We focus on building healthy soil and choose to grow our grain crops without the use of any pesticides.
